Jesser, Don

Class of 2023

Don spent the first seventeen years of his rodeo career tempting fate on the back of rough stock. Bareback, saddle bronc and team roping went hand in hand with his cowboying career. After injuries had him re-thinking his life-choices he became a pick-up man for Christiansen Bros. Rodeo. Don did this for several years before finding his true calling in rodeo, Announcing rodeos!
He began with small rodeos throughout Southern Idaho in 1992 and after just two years announcing in the PRCA he was able to leave a lifetime of long hard days in the saddle of cowboying and become a full-time announcer. He was able to do what he loved throughout Idaho, Oregon, California, and all through the West. The thousands of miles driven were hard, as most of his rodeos were announced horseback on his beloved horse Crusher. The lifetime of memories and friendships made every mile worth it.
